St Francis College readers shone at this year’s Kids Lit Quizz held at St George’s Preparatory School in Port Elizabeth recently. The college entered two teams of four each Grade 5-7 children in the recent Eastern Cape round and congratulations must go to both our teams for the spirit in which they took part. Our team one contestants did particularly well and were placed 9th overall against 22 teams from all over the Eastern Cape teams competing.
Team one contestants were Emily Cownie, Ella Boonzaier, Joss Hempel and Jamie Lindsay. Team two contestants were Phoebe Costanza, Roark la Combre, Sinéad Stewart and Samara Howell.

Our congratulations go to the Kingswood College team who won this round and will go through to Johannesburg for the next round.
