SFC pupils contributed to Mandela Day on July 18th by bringing blankets to school for people in need, baby/ childhood blankets for schools and older blankets for local animal shelters. Firstly, they heard stories from Mr Bause during assembly about how special Nelson Mandela was especially as regards his compassion for people. They then formed, together with their blankets the figure 100 which commemorates Nelson Mandela’s birth 100 years ago.
