A wonderful achievement for our super Water Polo U/13 team who managed an amazing result of 8-6 against Pearson High School U/14B team on only their second ever match - especially as this came after a gruelling Independent Schools gala where our school also did so well against much bigger schools!

The final trials for the NMBS Grom Team took place on Saturday 10th February. St Francis College was well represented by surfers Hannah Praetorius (Grade 7) and Rory Dace (Grade 4). Congratulations to our St Francis College Under 13A Waterpolo team who won their inaugural match against Collegiate Girls High School Under 13B team 4-1. A wonderful achievement! The match took place at Collegiate on Tuesday13th February and other schools competing included Pearson, Grey, Harvest, Priory and Manta Ray.

On Friday 1 December we held our end of year prize giving. The Grade 7 Honours Award as well as Dux was awarded to Joss Hempel. Our Grade 7 pupils completed the Otter Challenge from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 November. This included cycling, paddling, hiking as well as various other physical and mental challenges. What a treat for the Prime Timers Social Club in St Francis! This group of senior citizens were entertained by about 30 of the St Francis College children who sang Christmas carols for them whilst they enjoyed they wonderful Christmas lunch at the Dunes Country Lodge.
