This July, our 1st girls hockey team was invited to attend a hockey festival organized by DSG in Grahamstown. The first two games were against all boys teams of Yellowwoods from Fort Beaufort and Shaw Park from Bathurst on the Rhodes University astro. Our full squad managed a 2-2 draw against Shaw Park. After this, we managed to hold the well drilled DSG Under 13B to a 0-1 defeat on the DSG astro. The girls were superb ambassadors for the school and showed tremendous resilience.
