BURSARIES

St Francis College is committed to building the education of our community and puts a percentage of the annual school fee income aside to fund approved bursaries. This committee decides on the merits of each case depending on family circumstances, pupil ability and a contribution towards annual fees agreed for each year. No 100% bursaries are awarded. Bursaries are available to all sections of the St Francis Bay community and all information is kept completely confidential and not revealed to or discussed at staff or board of governors meetings. In these demanding economic times, we need to increase the capacity to grant bursaries and we are making a new appeal to those who can afford to, to consider one of the following options:

1. To pay an extra term’s fees into the bursary fund to be used at the discretion of the bursary committee.
2. To consider paying for one extra pupil or to partner with others to pay for another pupil.
