News from the Nursery School

  Nursery School

The end of the school year is yet again upon us and what a great year it has been.

This year we have welcomed Teacher Chané in the Butterfly class and all the sweet two year old children. They have all settled in well and we are so pleased that they will be moving up to the Bumble Bee class with Teacher Chané next year.

This brings me to the departure of Teacher Julia.  She has been at St Francis College for nine years now and is an amazing teacher and friend.  We wish Julia all the very best for her and Phoebe’s future.  Please come and visit us from time to time, you are going to be missed very much.

A big thank you to all the class Moms for all your hard work and to the Parents’ Association for all the great fundraising.

A very big thank you for all the support you, the parents have shown us, the staff and your sweet children.  Most importantly a big shout out to the Nursery School children for a wonderful 2017. You are all super stars!

On a personal note, I would like to wish all my beautiful Ladybirds the very best for their move next year to the big school. You have all achieved great things this year and made me so proud of each and every one of you.  May your futures be bright and healthy. I will be watching you all with great interest.

Have a wonderful Christmas and prosperous 2018.

Hugs to you all,

Teacher Jane

PA Report (1)

As the year draws to a close and we put the lid on the final fundraising effort for 2017, The Golf Day, we can safely say that it was a very successful fundraising year for the School. Through the various activities – Valentine’s Raffle, Family Fun Day, Monte Carlo Royale, Family Quizz night, Oktoberfest & the Golf Day, we have raised a total of around R200 000.00.

An enormous thank you must go to the parents, those that have supported, those that have participated, and those that have assisted in sponsoring these events; together we have made them possible. The time and effort put in this year has been astounding, and the proof certainly is in the figures!

The goal at the beginning of the year was to have FUN while FUNdraising, no matter the monies raised, and I can safely say that it was achieved

Wishing you all a family-filled holiday!

Enjoy the much needed break.

The Parent’s Association
